Important: CAHub acts as an intermediary platform. We do not provide accounting or auditing services directly. We facilitate connections between clients and independent professional service providers.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing:

  • Accurate and complete information
  • Current contact details
  • Valid business registration (if applicable)
  • Payment information

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Using a strong, unique password

Service Provider Accounts

For licensed and certified accounting firms registered with the Financial Services Authority of Oman

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Project Posting

When posting a project, clients must:

  • Specify requirements clearly
  • Set realistic budgets and timelines
  • Respond to clarification requests promptly
  • Upload necessary documents securely

4.2 Document Accuracy

Clients are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all financial documents and information provided to service providers.

4.3 Selection of Service Providers

Clients are free to select any service provider based on:

  • Qualifications and certifications
  • Quotes and pricing
  • Reviews and ratings
  • Previous experience and expertise

5. Service Provider Responsibilities

5.1 Licensing and Certification

Service providers must:

  • Hold valid licenses from the Financial Services Authority of Oman
  • Maintain professional certifications
  • Update credentials and qualifications regularly
  • Comply with all applicable professional standards

5.2 Quote Submission

Service providers must:

  • Submit accurate and competitive quotes
  • Honor quoted prices unless client changes project scope
  • Specify deliverables and timelines clearly
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest

5.3 Service Delivery

Service providers must:

  • Deliver services according to agreed terms
  • Meet professional quality standards
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Complete projects within agreed timelines
  • Comply with applicable accounting standards and regulations

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Platform Fees

For Clients: Currently, the Platform is free for all clients.

For Service Providers: Platform fees and commissions may apply as communicated separately.

6.2 Payment Process

Step 1: Client reviews and accepts a service provider's quote
Step 2: Client makes payment through the Platform
Step 3: Payment is held securely in escrow
Step 4: Service provider delivers the agreed services
Step 5: Client reviews and approves deliverables
Step 6: Payment is released to the service provider

6.3 Payment Security

  • All payments processed through licensed providers approved by the Central Bank of Oman
  • Secure encryption for all financial transactions
  • Funds held in escrow until service completion

6.4 Refunds and Disputes

  • Payment remains in client's account balance until project completion
  • Full refund if agreed services are not delivered
  • Partial refunds may be issued for incomplete or unsatisfactory work
  • Disputes handled through our dispute resolution process

7. Project Workflow

7.1 Project Approval

After submission, projects undergo review by our support team to ensure:

  • Completeness of information
  • Clarity of requirements
  • Compliance with platform policies
  • Appropriate categorization

7.2 Quote Reception

Once approved, projects are visible to all registered service providers who may submit quotes including:

  • Pricing breakdown
  • Timeline for completion
  • Deliverables description
  • Service provider qualifications

7.3 Communication

Important: All project-related communication must occur through the Platform's messaging system. External communication or direct payments are prohibited.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by CAHub or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant CAHub a license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary for Platform operation.

8.3 Deliverables

Completed work deliverables belong to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed between parties.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

9.1 Confidential Information

Users must maintain confidentiality of:

  • Financial documents and data
  • Business information
  • Trade secrets
  • Personal information
  • Project details

9.2 Service Provider Obligations

Service providers must:

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality
  • Implement secure data handling practices
  • Not disclose client information to third parties
  • Delete client data after project completion (unless required by law)

10. Reviews and Ratings

10.1 Review System

Clients may rate and review service providers based on:

  • Quality of work
  • Professionalism
  • Timeliness
  • Communication

10.2 Review Guidelines

Reviews must be:

  • Honest and based on actual experience
  • Professional and respectful
  • Free from offensive language
  • Relevant to the service provided

11. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:
  • Circumvent the Platform to conduct direct transactions
  • Share contact information for external dealing
  • Post false or misleading information
  • Engage in fraudulent activities
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Harass or discriminate against other users
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Use automated systems to access the Platform
  • Attempt to hack or compromise Platform security

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Platform Availability

While we strive for continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Platform operation.

12.2 Service Quality

CAHub is not liable for:

  • Quality of services provided by accounting firms
  • Professional errors or omissions by service providers
  • Disputes between clients and service providers
  • Financial losses resulting from service delivery

12.3 Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAHub's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Internal Resolution

We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably through our internal dispute resolution process:

  1. Submit dispute through Platform
  2. Our support team reviews the case
  3. Mediation between parties
  4. Binding decision if necessary

13.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Courts in Muscat, Oman have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
